Why is this your favourite shirt? I can't even confess to remembering this shirt whilst it was in use, I would have been 5. It's only since that I've come to appreciate its beauty.

Are there any happy or bad memories that come back to you when you see or think about this shirt? Like I say, I was far too young to remember it. But City aren't short of happy or bad memories since I started supporting, which was from birth. Day 1. If not earlier!

Who was the best player to wear this shirt? I've looked back and I love Paul Lake. I've read his book and seen City how it was back then. Unfortunately, he was a talent whose career was cut short.

And the worst? Who knows? The 5-year-old me would've loved them all.

You create shirts of your own through teamwear and retro shirts. How is that going for you? I just enjoy making things. Most of the time I'm making something for myself and minimum orders on sublimation etc. tend to mean I have 4 to 10 leftover that I tend to hope others might like to own. There’s no money in it but I enjoy it.

Why do you support Manchester City? My Dad lived in Manchester for a little while in the 70's. My grandad moved the family there with work and my Dad started going to the odd game at Maine Road and got hooked.

What was the first City game you went to and what was the score? Swindon away in September 1993. My Dad was passing the County Ground with work and picked up tickets to the Swindon end and then next week we went. He told me in no uncertain terms to not wear a City shirt. I didn't. I wore the England sky blue Lions shirt. I kept my jacket zipped up till we got to the terrace. I think he found it pretty funny and you could easily spot the sky-blue shirt on the cameras when I watched the highlights!

How have City done this season and what are your expectations for the remainder of the season left? I can't grumble. I never imagined this growing up. At times I wish we were a little less City-like, in that we'd not make it such hard work (take the recent cup game vs Swansea), but then again, where would the fun be in that!?

Your best City 1-11 in your time supporting the club? Tony Coton – Pablo Zabaleta, Vincent Kompany, Richard Dunne, Terry Phelan – Shaun Wright-Phillips, Fernandinho, David Silva, Yaya Touré, Georgiou Kinkladze – Sergio Agüero
